We started with a love for horses, learned through experience, and expanded our knowledge by working hands-on with a training/breeding facility.

Our passion for these powerful, talented horses, coupled with this experience, has enabled us to progress to the point where we now stand our own stallions -- APHA Ris Key Mover and AQHA Phoebes Pistoleo.

The best decision we made was to purchase a few great horses that have now become a huge part of our lives.

Ris Key Mover and Phoebes Pistoleo, the core of our program, are two exceptionally well bred horses. It has been our privilege to watch these two fine animals prove themselves as performance horses as well as sires.

Training:

Seeing the need to get the average horse lover riding again, we have started taking in horses for training. Our focus is to get horse owners back in the saddle.

From the untrained horse to the finished but unused pasture ornament, Jay is the one you need to get YOU back in the saddle. He uses simple but effective techniques to get you and your horse ready to ride.

With the vast amount of ground we have available for riding, Jay will be able to expose your horse to many situations. He will get them out with other horses, ride them away from the herd, and expose them to unfamiliar obstacles and conditions. When you get your horse back, you will have one that not only is a pleasure to ride but loads, washes, stands for saddling, doesn't pace around, and is respectful to you.  Many of these things may seem unimportant taken individually. It is when they all come together in one package and you have a sound and happy horse with a mind focused on you and your needs, rather then the other way around, that you and your horse will begin to enjoy your time together to the fullest.

Part of this package includes you, the rider. If you are not the rider that you would like to be, we can help you with that too. Our whole emphasis is on getting you to ride your horse!  We will show you how your horse was ridden so you can do the same. Our goal is to make your riding experience all that you want it to be! Additionally, we have found regular dental care essential. All of our horses have benefited from this practice which optimizes all facets of their daily lives. Proper dental care enables them to get the most from their feed and in turn makes them better able to perform to their highest level. John Hoeck, DVM, and his wife Melanie, specialists in horse dentistry, provide this service.

With Ris Key and Pistol's foals just starting to prove themselves, the future looks exciting.
